New Delhi. The three-day national symposium “Space Mission–2025”, held at the NCUI Auditorium and Convention Centre, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi, witnessed a unique confluence of science, education, and spirituality. Organized in honor of the 94th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the event brought together leading scientists, academicians, policymakers, and spiritual leaders from across the globe.
One of the highlights of the event was the special participation of distinguished guests from the World Spiritual Organisation – Vishwam Foundation, who graced the symposium as chief guests and keynote speakers.
The ceremony was led by Sri Sri Sri Jagan Guruji, currently serving as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Inter-Governmental Advisor, United Nations – Climate Adaptation. In his inspiring address, he emphasized that “Science and spirituality together can build a balanced and sustainable world.” He described Dr. Kalam as a “bridge between scientific innovation and spiritual wisdom.”
Joining him was Meeran Abdul Wahab, High-Risk Tactical Strategist and Inter-Governmental Advisor, who encouraged the youth to dedicate themselves to the cause of global peace and innovation.
Dr. Parvinder Singh, Inter-Governmental Advisor and UN Ambassador (Thailand), lauded the talent of Indian students and stressed the importance of international scientific collaboration. Meanwhile, Dr. Monruedee Sommart, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Thailand, highlighted the growing educational and scientific ties between India and Thailand.
Representing Nepal, Gargacharya Samhita Shastri Arjun Prasad Bastola, World Peace Ambassador of the World Religious Parliament (established by Swami Vivekanand, Nepal), stated that Dr. Kalam’s life is a testament to the fact that “Science and spirituality are not opposites but complementary forces.”
Other distinguished guests included Dr. Pradeep Khanal (World Spiritual Ambassador, WSO, Nepal); Mr. Munna Prasad Senuria (Chairman, Godawari Business Group – Asia, Europe & Dubai); and Dr. Saravanan Janarthanan (Group CEO, Cosmo Goram Group, India), all of whom applauded India’s innovative spirit and commitment to sustainable growth.
Adding historical and humanitarian perspective, Amithaab A, Humanitarian & Prince of the Chola Dynasty, spoke about India’s ancient scientific heritage and its connection with modern innovation.
Jagdish Khanal, Executive Member of BJP – Assam, remarked that Dr. Kalam’s scientific vision will continue to serve as an everlasting source of inspiration for India’s youth.
The guests collectively expressed that “Space Mission–2025” is not just a scientific symposium, but a symbolic celebration of India’s spiritual and scientific consciousness, illuminating the global path toward peace, knowledge, and innovation.
This grand event reaffirmed the belief that when science and spirituality walk hand in hand, humanity can truly reach its highest potential.
